Visit to Theological Seminary

Here are some shots of my first time visiting a theological seminary in Penang, and honestly the visit had opened my eyes to the world of pursuing bible studies. I didn't know that there are many students from different other countries like Hong Kong, China and even Cambodia were here. They're mostly young people and have the gear to venture overseas. The place is actually situated on high grounds (kind of like at the mountain area) and I wonder how people actually build these many buildings there, and they're still building more! Check out this housing area:One thing that would freak out (well maybe just a little) a new driver like me are the roads at this area, they're actually incredibly steep! No wonder Mr. Eshlyn lost a few inches off his tummy by walking up and down these roads:The houses and paths are mostly like this (though this particular path don't appear anywhere else, i think):One of the nice thing about the seminary area is that you get real pleasant views of the sea from where you lodge:Oh yeah and they also have these long houses and mission houses, mostly the younger students and speakers would live in them (partly because younger people can walk higher up the hill than older adults do):Who's the nice looking couple you see in the corner? Well, they're non other than Mr. and Mrs. Eshlyn. Mr Eshlyn has voluntarily pick up the job of taking care of the fish pond:The pond is situated beside the canteen, near a wide space for parking next to the class building:Pretty huh? And I gotta admit that I'm pretty a sucker for shots of flowers, which brightens up many parts of the seminary (hey I'm a girl and I still like flowers okay?):Here's a shot outside the classrooms and chapel and...other rooms:You may think that the seminary is all pleasant and study study study...but not so, there's also a basketball court and i think there's also a tennis court. Here's a shot (from inside of the car at the other side of the road) of some students playing in the court:So....bible studies anyone?
