OOPS~

I just realized that my title for the last post "11th & 12th Dec" was wrong. It supposed to be "6th & 7th Dec" ><>scatterbrain~ @@ hello Celina? what were you thinking?

Anyway, some say I think too much, some say I don't think... I wonder which is true or neither of them are >< hmmm....

Dumdeedumdum~ "God made me who I meant to be, He loves me just the way I am...and for this simple reason, I am happy to be me! Whoa-oh Whoa-oh~..." Hillsong Kids really have the simplest and best lyrics! But give me Donut Man anytime XD

*sigh~ some kids just don't grow up don't they? This is what I call "child-like faith"! Haha~^^

Rejoice always~!

A Song For Mama -- Mother's Day Special

Check out this performance by Phoeb, Liz and Charis on our church's mother's day special service!
Cool right? Now check out their bloopers XD

Haha! hope you enjoyed them! :)
God bless all moms!

Altered Frequency

I think this is my favorite band, its local, its Christian, its mainly rock, and it's music is pretty impressive^^ they currently consist of 5 people, but one of them in the picture you see is no longer in the team, Daniel Wong is now replaced by Terry Yeow, they're both guitarist. (just compare both pictures of the team and you'll notice that one of them are different, no? they're the ones wearing glasses *winks~)
Their 1st album, Exalt, is also the 1st album I bought(when I was 12)^^
Very nice, their songs are all inspired by bible verses (if you checked out the album lyrics before, you'll notice there are verse reference under every title) They came to Alor Star in the year 2004 for a Kedah-Perlis Youth Conference held at my church, FGC.
The 2nd album, Transit, is more catered for the secular-world, less suitable for worship. But their music are as good, or even better than the 1st album. I'm very impressed with their musical arrangements and techniques. Wanna listen? Here's a website where you can listen to their top5 songs from this album *clicky here~
They also have a blog http://alteredfrequency.blogspot.com/
You can also check them out on Facebook .
I would highly recommend their albums, so far I had listened to the 2nd album but hadn't have one of my own :( hope to get a copy someday^^

Be blessed listening to their songs, they're pretty meaningful :)

Kedah Youth Concert '10

Whoohoo~! Concert is finally over! which means no more aching hours of practice (literally, aching neck, shoulders, back...overall I'll feel like an old woman). The concert was held at the Kedah RTM studio on the 20th of March (its over, too bad you missed it *chuckles~). Anyway, here's a program list of the songs we played (requested by Jireh):
♪ Six Country Dances......Beethoven ♪ Tubung Periuk......Unknown (Malay Song) ♪ Clock Music......Joseph Haydn ♪ Fantasy On Greesleeves......Unknown ♪ Kabuki Dance......Richard Meyer ♪ Intrigue......Robert Longfield ~interval~ (Songs sung by guest artist Charis Chua): ♪ Belaian Jiwa......Jay Jay ♪ As I am......Charis Chua ♪ I See You......Charis Chua / Tan Si Ying (Songs played with Penang Symphony Band): ♪ Final Countdown......Joey Tempest ♪ Eye Of The Tiger......F.sullivan Iii and J.peterik ♪ Selections From Tarzan......Phil Collins (Finale with Pessband and Charis Chua): ♪ You Raise Me Up......R. Lovland / B. Graham

By the way, some of you readers may have known that I was busy with the designs of this concert's program booklet, and I think its a little more of wasted effort because the printing and editing shop can't work with the program of my designs so they had to redesign everthing! (so sad~)

Anyway, here's a few comparison of my designs (press the "Ctrl" key and scroll your mouse thingy up to zoom in to read the info):

So which do you prefer? please comment okay? ^^

Oh see what I got from the concert!
This was actually given to me by Yu Kee, the saxophonist soloist from Pessband (fancy having their bouquet! the reason he says is they can't bring it back to Penang, I wonder why) Check out his picture:
Cool right? And he's actually younger than me??? (well, younger by just a year)

So overall the concert was good, I won't say great, but its cool ^^ God bless all musicians!

"Note To God" -- Impressive Song by Charice

This is seriously SERIOUSLY an impressive performance by a child prodigy. Everyone, meet Charice Pempengco from Philippines, a very talented and gifted singer.
Here's a video of her singing note to God:

Here's the lyrics:

If I wrote a note to God
I would speak whats in my soul
I'd ask for all the hate to be swept away,
For love to overflow
If I wrote a note to God
I'd pour my heart out on each page
I'd ask for war to end
For peace to mend this world
I'd say, I'd say, I'd say

Give us the strength to make it through
Help us find love cause love is over due
And it looks like we haven't got a clue
Need some help from you
Grant us the faith to carry on
Give us hope when it seems all hope is gone
Cause it seems like so much is goin wrong
On this road we're on

If I wrote a note to God
I would say what on my mind
I'd ask for wisdom to let compassion rule this world
Until these times
If I wrote a note to God
I'd say please help us find our way
End all the bitterness, put some tenderness in our hearts
And I'd say, I'd say, I'd say

Give us the strength to make it through
Help us find love cause love is over due
And it looks like we haven't got a clue
Need some help from you
Grant us the faith to carry on
Give us hope when it seems all hope is gone
Cause it seems like so much is goin wrong
On this road we're on

No, no no no
We can't do this on our own
So

Give us the strength to make it through
Help us find love cause love is over due
And it looks like we haven't got a clue
Need some help from you
Grant us the faith to carry on
Give us hope when it seems all hope is gone
Cause it seems like so much is goin wrong
On this road we're on

If I wrote a note to God

Enjoy and be blessed everyone! :)

Verse Of The Day: Gos.pel.o.so.phy

As requested by Sakai Head (since last year) I've FINALLY remembered to update a review on this album.

I got this album at the Asia Pacific Youth Alive Conference '09 (a.k.a. APYAC '09) and the Indonesian worship team had lead the congregation into the best worship session (in my opinion) in the whole conference. It was energetic, joyful and a real intimate-with-God session.

Well don't get your hopes too high on this album because its not like the usual praise and worship album, about HALF of the content comprises of JAMMING TRACKS! So unless you're a jammer, music lover, or just like to listen to jazzy intrumentals, I won't really recommend this album if you're looking for something.... Worship-y? (I don't know how to call that). Anyway, you could check this album out in Facebook, you can be a friend or be a fan. :)

Number of tracks: 13
Language: English and Malay/Indonesian
Rating: ★★★☆☆

Be blessed!

Hush little baby don't you cry..

Check it out and please leave a comment.

Be blessed! :)

The lyrics are in the video below.

Please enjoy :)

Somebody help me!!!!

Anyone here who doesn't know what to get Celina for Christmas?

Here's one of the stuff she wants...

A NEW COMPUTER!

In my opinion, You Tube should have a direct share link to Blogspot.
It'll cut the troublesome of having to download videos
(which I, in particular, need help with that)

Anyway, the original reason that I wanted to post this blog is to recommend a video.

check this link: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Duj9sS-mqSo&feature=rec-HM-rev-rn

Please enjoy^^
